Starting out.
The market gap that has been the hardest to fill in most Pattern shops that I have worked in as a Patternmaker is the guy that can do the complete job. This gap is where the customer has no full drawings or working drawings but a sketch of what is required. Very often patterns are developed from these sketches and then the engineering drawings are developed. Some customers do not even have a sketch, but only an idea that needs to be developed into a functioning product. This type of work exists in several industries including the automotive industry. These products have include bathtubs / spa pools, air dams and similar accessories for cars or race car bodies, display and packaging items that may require wood carving or any other type of development.
Today
The business is now focused on Mustang Fiberglass parts and other parts for cars. In between are other cars parts and motor cycle parts.
