Tamworth Vintage Car Club has around 40 members.
Members have 70 vehicles which are comprised of cars and light trucks,
some of which are quite rare. We can best be described as a medium
sized country club.
Meetings:
Ordinary meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the
Salvation Army Hall in Goonoo Goonoo Road, Tamworth.
An Annual General Meeting is held each August, and we have 3 or 4
Committee Meetings each year.
Vehicle Runs:
Our regular monthly run is on the next Sunday following our
meeting. Most runs commence from the car park in Bicentenial Park in
Kable Avenue.
A monthly mid week run is held on the 1st Thursday of each month
and these usually commence from the Viaduct car park in Peel Street.
They have become known as Pie Runs and are of a casual and short
nature which suits older vehicles.
Other events of a special nature such as Christmas runs and charity
support are also held.
We are proud to be one of the hosts of the North West Rally which
is rotated annually between Tamworth, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree, and
Inverell clubs.
