We are based in Warrnambool, Victoria with members living within a radius of 100 klm.
New Members are always welcome and if you want to understand what you could be getting into , give Brendan O'Shea a ring and discuss your interest.
The South Coast Sports Cars Club (SCSC) started out in 2005 as a group of friends who enjoy the social aspect of driving their sports cars. The initial group soon gained recognition and their exploits were detailed in the Warrnambool Standard. Others who saw the article, made contact, joined in and today our group has grown to over 60 couples. Up until 2010 the club had no formal club structure and that was a real plus in terms of maintaining a happy informality and minimal administration. Once the Club was incorporated as a non profit organisation it also became permitted by Vicroads to join the Club Plate (red plate scheme). The club will allow members to use the Club Plate Scheme with vehicles built after 1931 and more than 25 years old and/or in accordance with the revised Vicroads rules as of January 2015.
Each month there is a Sunday run (usually 3rd Sunday), and a Thursday dinner (1st Thursday), in a local Warrnambool restaurant. We occasionally go to other events or have a few days away. There is an active Ladies Social Committee who organise the Clubs Calendar but members suggestions and ideas are always welcomed and are encouraged.
