Rolls-Royce motor cars have been made since 1904. They have
been enjoyed by Western Australians since the 1920s. The Rolls-Royce
Owners Club of Australia – Western Australian Branch (Inc) is a part
of an international and Australian group of clubs which caters for
the interests of both Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners and
enthusiasts. The WA club began in 1965 and remains an active and
interesting club.
Ownership of a Rolls-Royce or Bentley vehicle is not a
pre-requisite but is encouraged.
The present membership includes people of all walks of life, who are
united in a common interest of enjoying fine motor cars and all
aspects of ownership including social activities, networking,
maintenance, restoration, driving and displaying their cars.
The club offers a calendar of activities throughout the year with a
variety of events at which our cars can be enjoyed, sometimes with
other clubs.
Our annual Concours d’Elegance is a highlight of the calendar in
which many members participate.
Our club founded the British Car Day many years ago, since run by
other clubs, but still a strong event every year.
Member benefits include a local quarterly magazine called The Winged
Messenger (you can see previous copies on this website) as well as the
national magazine Praeclarum.
Concessional Licensing is available to club members which offers
considerably cheaper registration for cars that have limited use.
The Rolls-Royce Owners Club is an active member of the Council of
Motoring Clubs which caters for the interests of car clubs in Western
Australia including running the annual Classic Car Show and liaising
with authorities including the Department of Transport. The club was
one of the founding members.
There is a Federal Rally organized each year which members are
encouraged to attend. It moves from state to state on a rotational basis.
Some of our members have a wealth of experience and access to useful
information which can assist fellow members.
For any enthusiast of the Rolls-Royce and Bentley marques, the club
offers many ways to enjoy added benefits to the use of their motorcar.
