The GT Badge has been synonymous with Power, Performance and Muscle Car style since it first graced the XR Falcon in 1967. It has attracted a loyal following over the years leading to the ‘Anniversary’ models of the EB GT and EL GT and an eventual return to production in the BA – FG Falcon GT models.
As an enthusiasts’ club, we’re all about the Falcon GT. Many of our original members have been involved in the GT scene prior to the inception of the first Queensland GT club back in 1981.
Representing the Falcon GT on a state and National level, we participate in events such as the Falcon GT Nationals and Combined Valla Park Cruise. We also hold regular runs and events to places of interest within and beyond Queensland. As these cars have progressed through the models, we too feel that a club should be progressive and adaptive to modern ideas. We will endeavour to operate the club using modern communications and technologies with as little ‘housekeeping’ as possible so we can all enjoy the club.
We understand that not everyone is in a position to own a Falcon GT or that some would like to build up their knowledge on the models prior to purchasing one. Therefore, while our core membership will always be GT owners we also encourage enthusiasts and owners of GT ‘Peer’ vehicles of the Ford Marque to participate in the club. We understand the interest generated by these ‘Peer’ vehicles and GT enthusiasts helps support the GT Movement as a whole, and to that end we only hold one level of membership and respect equally the enthusiasm that each of member brings to the club.
