Introduction The core objective of the Ducati Owners Club of
Western Australia is to promote and encourage motorcycling and to
promote the name, reputation and mystique of Ducati-engined
motorcycles. To organize and conduct social outings and to encourage
good fellowship among members. To support and encourage the
preservation and restoration of the Ducati marque. To promote riding
in a safe and responsible manner in order to enhance the enjoyment to
others of the Ducati riding experience.
History DOCWA was founded in 1976, by a small committed and
passionate group of Ducatisti. It is one of the longest established
Ducati Owners clubs in the world and the second oldest Ducati Club in
Australia. Currently, we have around 150 financial members who all own
and ride Ducati engineered motorcycles ranging from the early single
cylinder engines of the fifties and sixties through the period of the
venerable 750cc and 900cc V-twin bevels that include GT’s, SS,
Darmahs, MHR’s, S2, belt drive engine Super Sports, Pantahs, Paso’s,
F1’s. To the latest Superbikes from the 851 to the Desmosedici,
Monsters, Sport Touring, Multistrada, Hypermotard, Sport Classics,
Streetfighters, Diavels, Panagales and Ducati powered specials. Benefits
