History
Originally supplied in Western Australia and finished up being repainted in Darwin some 18 years ago. used sparingly in Darwin and finished up being stored outside under canvas for 15 years with additional coverings added once the earlier ones rotted. Obtained from a contact who purchased the car in Darwin who bought it down to Adelaide with a view to restore. Gave up and I purchased it approximately 2 years ago with a view to restore after finishing an earlier R Series project.
Modifications
The vehicle is being restored to original and is rapidly proceeding and due to the Coronavirus items like taking back to bare metal is being carried out manually by myself as is rust removal, body work, all electrical, suspension repairs, new brakes, engine rebuild and paintwork. Upholstery has been completed, the automatic transmission and new chrome where required are the only tasked being outsourced to experts.
